My Story
I was one of those girls who probably annoyed the hell out of my classmates in high school... lol. I was this awkward, trying-to-be-friends-with-everyone-but-failing kinda girl. I guess I thought being friends with everyone would give me a sense of purpose? In my senior year, I realized 90% of the 'friendships' I had were more like acquaintanceships, where I was the only one trying to push it over the edge into friendship territory. That's when I got super into mindfulness. Like, super into it. I think finally stepping back and just thinking about who I was without trying to look at myself through the lens of someone else was really what changed my life. Now, I'm pretty comfortable with my only friends being my big brother, his bestie, and her sister. I hope all of you can find comfort through my website!
